sound of sirens

Are other people of Leigh and the surrounding areas not totally fed up with having to listen to emergency vehicles sirens all the time? Do the people of Leigh not have human rights to some peace and quiet? Are all the sirens really going to emergency calls or are they using Leigh as a siren test area? Or just to get through traffic like the ambulance on Chapel Street which had sirens blazing just to go and park up on the bingo hall car park in the town center. Or the fire engine to get through the bridge works near the sports village. Give the people of Leigh some quiet and go and play with your sirens somewhere else.
