  Once again Astley & Tyldesley's juniors put in great performances in the Manchester League Individual Championships at Stockport on Wednesday.   Astley & Tyldesley welcomed Heckmondwike to compete in a challenge match at Gin Pit on Sunday. The scores were close for the first seven races, as A & T edged into a 38-32 lead. The home team then banged in five maximum 7-3 heat wins in the remaining eight races, to run out convincing 90-60 winners.
