  I think your now showing your true colours Daving your ignorance of the use of caps is showing that , you are now and have been all along in this thread been making things up , like it or not thats an outdoor market , its a fact that more and more small shops are going to the wall because of the bigger stores and the internet you really are out of touch David , the combined election ? Labour walked it in Leigh and the ones that were elected did not stand on a Leigh out of Wigan ticket , i hate class disticntion by the way it says im higher up and better than you but hey thats just me , yes i hope people read this thread as well you havent come across well in your rantings at all David but maybe thats why they didnt elect you in the first place .

  I will now let the readers judge all this jabber, You class that as a Outdoor market, RE :Decent toilets speke to the ladies see what they say about the quality & the lack of a baby changing room. Other towns have them. Mini markets out of date I think not, visit London. Yes people do have go Wigan more & more for one thing or another, ask them.

  Yes I failed to get many votes however there was 7 candidates the winner didn't get that many. Yes alot more than me I accept that, All this doesn't mean Leigh gets a fair crack of the whip because it doesn't.

  We have an outdoor market honest we do , there are public toilets in the bus station and as i understand it the ones behind the Libary are to be re opened as for a community hall you would need one in every ward to make everyone happy , why do you want a mini supermarket in bradshawgate ? they are now a thing of the past we used to have a Lennons and a Tesco but like many towns they left to create the hypermarkets take a look at Asda in Leigh its packed most days so i dont think a mini supermarket will knock it of it perch the new Tesco on Barlos site will give it a run though .
  
  The heavy rail link wont happen it will cost far to much , museum ? why ? your the first ive heard who wants one in Leigh i think im correct in saying Bolton has one but cant see Leigh wanting one at all , departmet stores we could do with a few yes and maybe they will come once the new retail park gets under way , youth clubs i agree but we need the youth to get involved to show us this is what they want , music shop we had one but it sailed away it was facing Lloyds bank in the precint i blame the internet for its demise to easy to get music free on there , i dont see how the council can be blamed for Leigh having no music shop , same goes for book shops once again books are cheap to buy online so the book shops suffers evolution ?, we are not a tourist town so no need for a tourist shop ,.
  
  I agree over the traffic lights a mess that needs sorting, the church bells ? an objection was put forward so the council have to look at it , i dont think the people of Leigh have to go on needless journeys to Wigan at all we are lucky enough to have Bolton and Warrington close by for department stores to shop in , im sure First bus run a bus service into Bolton every 5 mins so easy to get there if you dont drive , if you want a rail link David best leave those arches alone they might come in handy though if not they should be bulldozed could create more parking , whats the sportsman pub got to do with Wigan Council ? its a private building for sale , you keep telling me about all these people who want their council back once again they didnt vote for you when you stood on that ticket David, they had a chance to but choose Peter Smith i wont say Lord its class discrimation to me , lastly do you have proof that Leigh has the worst foothpaths in Wigan ? you would need to go round every area of Wigan to prove that David and i dont think you have .
