Once again the Local Independent Candidates together with Norman Bradbury the Independent Network Candidate for the Leigh Constituency hold two very successful Street Stalls in Tyldesley and Atherton on Saturday the 1st May 2010.

Norman said “ Following the Street Stalls and subsequent canvassing in Leigh I have found that 30%-40% of the electorate are firm supporters of my proposals for the future governance of Leigh, and are going to give me their vote on the 6th May 2010, of the rest 10% to 20% are going to vote for one of the Political Parties with 40% to 50% still undecided. This election is a once in a lifetime chance to change the way we are governed. If you’ve not voted for years because you’ve been disillusioned by Party Politics, now is the time to make your voice heard.”
In the 2005 General Election Andy Burnham had 63.3% of the vote which gave him a majority of 23,097, no other candidate got over 16% of the vote. Let’s make history in Leigh, it would only take 50% of the undecided voters to get of the fence and vote for Norman to give him a majority equal to that of Andy Burnham in 2005.
Leigh has been represented by a Labour Party Member since 1922, it’s time for a change and be represented by a candidate who represents the people of Leigh and their views and not the views of the Labour Party.
