On Saturday the 24th April 2010 Norman Bradbury the Independent Network

Candidate for the General Election who is challenging Andy Burnham for the

Leigh Constituency, held a Street Stall outside the Spinning Gate Shopping

Centre in Leigh. He was assisted by David Hull the Independent Candidate for

Leigh West,  Neil Wade the Independent

Candidate for Atherleigh ,Councillor Bob Splaine his fellow Atherton Councillor

and many other supporters.

Norman said: ”People are

beginning to realize that they can make a difference at this election, and that

they don’t have to accept what the political parties keep telling them are

their only options. Labour have represented Leigh since 1922 and it’s time for

a change, if you’ve been disillusioned by Party Politics and not bothered to

vote because you’ve felt your vote wouldn’t alter anything, now is the time to

make your voice heard. Together we can make things happen. Bring back real

local democracy with new Town Councils, establish a new Leigh MBC taking the

area out of the control of Wigan, save our

community High Schools, bring Leigh back into the National Heavy Rail Network

and scrap the mis-guided Busway”.

Following the success of the Street Stall in Leigh, Norman

is to hold further Street Stalls on Saturday the 1st May 2010. He will be on Tyldesley Market Square from 10.00am till 12.30pm and in Market Street, Atherton from 1.00pm till 3.30pm, when you

will be able to talk to him together with Independent Candidates for the local

elections.
