Leigh Scouts Group fundraising

The Leigh scouts group raised massive £653.48 on the 18th December whilst collecting in Sainsbury's Leigh. The funds will go towards the renovation of the Scout Hut. Big thank you to all our customers for their kind donations.

The railway arches off Queen St, Leigh have been demolished. I David Hull fully agree with them coming down along with the under used multi-storey car park next to our Town Hall. Both these areas are to become new ground level car parks. The one near the Town Hall is hopefully going to be tree lined, which should look good.
