Scooby Preston for Leigh South...
Stuart 'Scooby' Preston is standing for The Community Action Party in the local elections.
Scooby is a Youth Worker in the area and believes in helping the community of Leigh.
Development within Leigh South is currently widespread, yet, the area has some of the worst kept road surfaces and has suffered with the deterioration of shops, pubs and land with no sign of improvement.
Youth Centres, Day Centres and services for the elderly and disabled are losing funding there are buildings in the area where we could create community hubs that could integrate all of these services and all of the people in our area.
